He was predeceased by: his parents, Carmine Amelio and Theresa Amelio (Puleo); his wife Josephine Meta Amelio (Plocido); his stepson Michael Meta; and his brothers, Albert Sr. and Samuel Amelio.
He is survived by: his stepchildren, Albert Meta (Shelia Harvey), James Meta (Sue), Carmella Messmer (Frank), Joseph Meta (Bonnie), Thomas Meta (Cheryl), Nicholas Meta (Callie), Robert Meta (Patricia), Samuel Meta (Mary Jane) and Larry Meta (Dawn). He is also survived by his numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
