He is survived by: his close friend Elaine Wengrzyn; and his nieces and nephews, Greg Knapek, Richard Knapek (Alice), Michael Knapek (Karin), Thomas Knapek (Tammy), Michelle Batalla (Alberto), Patricia Surma, Roselynn Knapek and Linda Mullen (Matthew).
