She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Rekasie and Anna Rekasie (Plusk); her husband Andrew J. Spece, Sr.; and her brothers, Paul, John, Stanley, Anthony and Walter Rekasie.
She is survived by: her sons, John Spece (Mary) of Lower Burrell, Andrew J. Spece, Jr. (Christine) of Natrona Heights, Thomas Spece (Laura) of Evansville, IN and Michael Spece of Natrona Heights; her grandsons, Jim Spece of Japan, Adam Spece (Sandy), Michael Zeiler of Natrona Heights, Matthew Zeiler (Jeyling) of Nicaragua and Mark Zeiler (Kassie) of Saxonburg; her great grandchild Kristian Spece; her niece Cheryl Brown of Natrona Heights; and her sisters-in-law, Angie Kline of Natrona Heights, Sylvia Matusovich of Plum, Theresa Kissell of Cabot, Rose Olean of Creighton and Arlene McCullough (Richard).
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Duster Funeral & Cremation Services, Inc. (347 E 10th Ave, Tarentum, PA 15084). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers contributions be made to Allegheny Valley Association of Churches, Food Bank or Allegheny Valley Library.
