He was predeceased by: his parents, Florence Kohl (Roth) and Andrew J. Kohl; and his siblings, Andrew Kohl, Jr., Kathleen Messner and Carol Ream.

He is survived by: his siblings, Delrea R Ream of Narvon, PA, Rhoda Riegel of Reading, Delores Jaxel of Ephrata, Virginia Loose of Ephrata, Richard Kohl, Jeffrey Kohl of Denver, Clair Kohl of Denver and Henry Kohl of Ephrata. He is also survived by Many Nieces and nephews.
