He was predeceased by: his parents, Phineas M. Ziemer and F. Mahala Ziemer (Styer); his wife Esther A. Ziemer (Demming); his daughter Karen Ziemer; his great grandchild Katelyn Faith Ziemer; and his siblings, Evelyn, Ruth, Bertie, Edna, Pearl and Raymond.
He is survived by: his children, Neal (Sharon) and Cheryl (Harold Haldeman); his grandchildren, Eric (Jessica), Natalie (Christian Fifield), Mallory Haldeman (Jon Schwartz), Shane (Caity), Nathan Haldeman and Lucas; his great grandchildren, Bennett, Owen, Liam, Grady and Reed; and his sister Dottie Good (Ziemer).
