He is survived by: his significant other Valerie Boullianne; his mother Marie Fox (Shenk); his sons, Joseph McCardle (Cheryl) and David McCardle (Jeannie); and his brothers, Jim McCardle and Gary McCardle. He is also survived by three grandchildren.
