It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Walden Carl Vorhauer (Nanty Glo, Pennsylvania), born in Johnstown, Pennsylvania, who passed away on September 3, 2020, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, J. Edward Vorhauer, Sr. and Margaret Faye Vorhauer (Rhodes); and his sister Martha. He is survived by: his siblings, J. Edward Jr. (Susanne McGhee), Jeannette, Ellen Grace, Allan (Regina Turin), Cheryl, James and Esther (Doug Eady); his nieces, Heather (Cliff Bernstein), Gretchen (Ross Beveridge) and Jennie (Dylan McCreary); his nephew Brian (Sheena Bailey); and his great-nephews, Quinten, Leighla, Justen Vorhauer, Andrew and Adam Beveridge. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, numerous cousins and many friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the St. Paul's Lutheran Church Memorial Fund or to the Interfaith Community Food Pantry in Walden's memory.
