She was predeceased by: her parents, John Benedict and Elsie Benedict; her husband Alfred "Slip"; and her siblings, Jean, James, Frances, Agnes and Robert.
She is survived by: her daughters, Sandra Brown (Ben) and Sharon Farabaugh; and her grandchildren, Frank Brown, Jessie Brown-Feliciano (Robert) of Corey Rickens, C. J., Jordan and Trevor Farabaugh. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Ruth's memory may be made to Child Evangelism Fellowship of Cambria County.
