Merle is survived by: parent Jane Hoover (Miller); wife Nancy Fye; sons, Merle Hoover (Sara) of Colorado and Jason Hoover (Patty); grandchildren, Rockford Hoover and Madison Hoover; siblings, Margaret Tully (James), Theresa Dinsmore, Lee Missouri (Mickey) and Charles "Jocko"; and sister-in-law Edna Travis.
