She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Marcus and Mary Marcus (Batala); her husband Joseph Sherwood, Jr.; her children, Donald and Judy Dumm; and her sister Elaine Hagens.
She is survived by: her daughters, Merrie Sherry, Nancy Sherwood (John Wolfe), Beverly Sherwood Burns (Chris Burns) and Erin Sherwood; her grandchildren, Joshua, Lane, Alexis, Dane and Ava; her great grandchildren, Parker, David and Joey; her son-in-law Wayne Dumm; and her friend Joseph Raptosh.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 23rd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Askew-Houser Funeral Homes (1310 Shoemaker St, Nanty-Glo, PA 15943). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, April 24th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Askew-Houser Funeral Homes, Inc. (1310 Shoemaker St, Nanty-Glo, PA 15943).
