She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Wood and Christina Wood (Laughard); her husband George; her sons, Charles and Brian; and her siblings, Tom, Ernest "Sonny", Mary Jane Berringer and Margaret Delehunt.
She is survived by: her children, Deborah Thomas and Earl Hockenberry (Joyce); and her sisters, Andrea Reed (Robert) and Ellen Dinsmore (Robert). She is also survived by 13 Grandchildren. 22 Great Grandchildren. 2 Great Great Grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Joan's memory may be made to Shriners Hospital or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
