He was predeceased by: his parent Ignatz Domzalski; his wife Dorothy Yanchus Domzalski; and his brothers, Martin, Leonard, Raymond and Norbert.

He is survived by: his parent Helen Kreiger Domzalski; his son Richard Jr.; his wife Mary Ann Domzalski; his grandchildren, Leah, Elizabeth, Jill and Kyle; and also Gerard Domzalski. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
