He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Virginia Josefowicz, Charles Romanowski and John Eckrote. He is survived by: his parents, John Eckrote and Michele Romanowski Eckrote of Nanticoke; his son Michael John Eckrote, Jr.; his sisters, Amy Brennan (Josh) of Larksville and Elizabeth Pohlig (Stephen) of Old Forge; his grandmothers, Gloria Eckrote of Nanticoke and Frances Romanowski of Mountain Top; and his nieces and nephews, Avery, Henry and Elliot. He is also survived by many loving aunts, uncles, and cousins.
