He was predeceased by: his parents, John J. Bauer and Anna G. Bauer (Shimborski); and his great grandchild Alexis Renee Johnson. He is survived by: his wife Ruth M Bauer (Reese); and his children, Ruth Johnson (Charles) of Dillsburg, Charles J. Bauer Jr. (Jennifer) of Dillsburg, John C. Bauer (Lori) of Dillsburg, Linda Keene (Allen) of Mechanicsburg and Michelle Bauer of Wormleysburg. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
