He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Rager (Chick) and Ethel Rager (Euston); his sister Marian; his brothers-in-law, Ronald Sabo and Harry Finnegan; his nephew Ricky Beck; his sisters-in-law, JoAnn V. Rager and Jeanett Hartman; and his brother Roy Rager.
He is survived by: his wife JoAnn L. Rager (Hartman); his children, William Rager, Jr. (Bill) of Myerstown, Dean Rager of Myerstown and Kelly Johnson (Shawn) of South Forksville, PA; his siblings, Lorrain Finnegan of Rehoboth Beach, DE and Carl; his sister-in-law Nancy Hartman of Myerstown; his grandchildren, Abby Thompson (Joe) of Forksville, PA and Jake Johnson (Chelsey) of Forksville, PA; and his great grandchildren, Averi, Levi, Riley and Elliott. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Grose Funeral Home, Inc. (358 W Washington Ave, Myerstown, PA 17067). A memorial service was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Grose Funeral Home (358 W Washington Ave, Myerstown, PA 17067).
