He was predeceased by: his wife Lorraine D Ruhl (Labe); his parents, Lester, Sr. Ruhl and Marie Ruhl (Firestone); his sons, Richard and Glenn Ruhl; his stepson Kirk Kirby; his brother Lester Ruhl, Jr.; and his half-brother Harold Firestone.
He is survived by: his daughters, Jody Perotta of Myerstown, Sharon Kuhn of Myerstown and Julie (Steve Kirby, Sr.) of Myerstown; his stepchildren, Sheila Kendrick, Sherry Vance, Kim Kirby, Deb Barto, Eric Kirby and Frank Kirby; his sister Erma (Leroy Howe, Sr.) of Ephrata; his half-brother Leslie Jo (Marie); and his sister-in-law Deb Ruhl of Pottsville. He is also survived by 25 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren.
