It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Vera A. Darkes of Myerstown, Pennsylvania, who passed away at the age of 94, on October 29, 2021. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband John F. Darkes; her parents, Emanuel Deck and Arlene Deck (Bicksler) of Lebanon County; and her brothers, Clyde Deck and Stanley Deck. She was also cherished by many nieces, nephews and wonderful friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations, in Vera's honor, can be made to the Myerstown Community Library 199 N. College Street Myerstown PA 17067.

Really miss my friend who was always their for me. I know she could not wait to get to heaven to be with family. When you find a loving caring person make sure you cherish your time together.
