He is survived by: his son David Brightbill (Cynthia) of Orbisonia, PA; his brother George Brightbill of Lebanon; his grandchildren, Rebekah (Ryan McGonigle) and Nicholas Brightbill; and his great grandchild Decker McGonigle.
