He was predeceased by: his parents, Emlin J. Matthew and Christine R. Matthew (Beamesderfer). He is survived by: his children, Michelle (Michael Plempel) of Womelsdorf, Melissa (Ben Keller) of Lebanon and Brian Matthew of Myerstown; his grandchildren, Ashley Moore, Skyler Eiceman, Stephanie Beamesderfer, Elizabeth Verna and Sarah Kleinfelter; his great grandchildren, Roman, Hudson, Tripp, Talon, Emmett and Luke; and his siblings, Betty (late Arthur Patches) of Myerstown, Loretta (Robert Bausher) of Stouchsburg, Mary Lou Kreiser of Newmanstown and James Matthew of Newmanstown. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
