He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Schneider and Mary Schneider (Martin). He is survived by: his children, Ronald, II (Paola Schneider), Nicole Schneider, Dawn (Michael McBride) and Sherry Hegel (Jay Iskra); his former wife Claire Schneider; his grandchildren, Julian, Sofia, Eric, Kaitlyn, Brandon, Aliya, Jaelyn and Kylie; his great grandchildren, Bailey and Avery; and his siblings, Arthur (Elisa Schneider) and Susan (Michael Callahan).
