He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Henry, Sr. and Elnora Spangler (Edris). He is survived by: his wife Loretta F. Spangler (Brandt); his children, Crystal (Frederick Sechrest), Lora L. Spangler (Scot Royal), Danielle S. (Steven Geist) and R. David Spangler; his grandchildren, Molly K. Sechrest, Emily G. (Justin Shaud), Kiaya M. Sechrest, K. Sera Royal, Jaxon S. Royal, R. Dylan Spangler, Jacob H. Spangler, Tyler M. Geist, Abigail M. Geist and Gavin D. Geist; his great grandchildren, Annabeth G. Shaud and Jameson W. Shaud; and his siblings, Patricia Roeske and Anthony Spangler.
