She was predeceased by: her parents, John E. Fletcher and Mildred Fletcher (Engle); her former husband Gerald E. "Gerry" Swope; her close friend W. Donald Swanger; her grandson Derek Swope; and her brother John Fletcher, Jr..
She is survived by: her children, Janeen (Lenn Zeller) of Ringtown, Jody Swope of Grand Blanc, MI and Gregory (Cynthia Swope) of Palmyra; her grandchildren, Carly (Austin Loy) of Elizabethtown and Garrett Swope of Camp Hill; and her sister Evelyn Schreiber of Lititz.
