He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo Zavitsky and Mary Ann Zavitsky (Hartner); and his brothers, Leo "Bud" and Lewie Zavitsky. He is survived by: his spouse Mallory L. Zavitsky; and his sister Mary Seip (Dave). He is also survived by extended family and five nephews and three nieces.
