He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd Sherk and Edna Sherk (Reber). He is survived by: his wife Virginia A. Sherk (Schoener); his daughters, Sharon (Mato Juretic) of Lebanon and Lisa (David Kirsch) of Lancaster; his grandchildren, Amanda, Matthew, Monica and Kaylee; his great grandchildren, Isaac, Silas and Jack; and his stepsiblings, Geraldine Weidner of Bernville and Lloyd "Butch" Sherk of California. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Lebanon Area Evangelical Free Church (600 Shepherd St, Jonestown, PA 17038). A memorial service was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
