He was predeceased by: his parents, John W. Steffen and Bessie R. Steffen (Keeler); his wife Betty Steffen; his sisters, Lois Douglass, Marilyn Prawucki and Carol Harris; and his brother-in-law Raymond Prawucki.
He is survived by: his son Gary; his daughter-in-law Karen Steffen of Syracuse, NY; his daughter Penny; his son-in-law Lee Anske of Myerstown, PA; and his grandchildren, Mark Steffen of Mebane, NC, Sarah (Tim Heron) of Baldwinsville, NY and Emma Bartolomei of Myerstown, PA. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
