He was predeceased by: his wife Elsie M. Brightbill (Peiffer); his parents, Wayne L. Brightbill and Mabel Brightbill (Rittle); his daughter Carol Kauffman; his granddaughter Kristin Kauffman; his brothers, Carl Brightbill and Ernest Brightbill; and his half-brothers, Wayne Brightbill, Jr. and Melvin Brightbill.
He is survived by: his children, Marie (Lynn Moyer) of Annville, Judy (Robert Phillips, Jr.) of Bethel, Donald Brightbill of Newmanstown, Randy (Denise Brightbill) of Myerstown and Glenn Brightbill of Richland; his half-sister Dianne Younker of Lebanon; and his sister Myrtle Neiun. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren; great-grandchildren; sister.
