He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry B. Strauss, II and Sarah Ellen Strauss (Latshaw); and his siblings, Eugene Strauss and Eileen Barker. He is survived by: his wife Linda L. Strauss (Leslie) of Myerstown; his children, Robert C. Strauss (Juli) of Taganga, Colombia, Jeffrey T. Strauss (Rachel) of Sykesville, MD, Sarah E. (Daniel Keller) of Sykesville, MD and Anna L. Ahlstrom (Jon Clark) of Rapid City, SD; and his siblings, Russell Strauss (Lois) of Myerstown, Roger Strauss (Arlene) of Quarryville, Fred Strauss (Karen) and Mary (Grover Herr) of Etters. He is also survived by nine grandchildren.
