It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Frederick W. Greenawalt of Myerstown, Pennsylvania, born in Detroit, Michigan, who passed away on August 22, 2020, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarine Greenawalt (Nashold) and Donald Greenawalt; his brothers, Donald Greenawalt, Jr. and Bradford Greenawalt; and his grandson Elijah Ellis.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara J. Greenawalt (Stewart); his daughters, Laana Layman (Art) of Oklahoma City, OK, Sonja Hipkins of Houston, TX, Hannah Ellis (Chris) of Huntsville, AL, Tabitha DeWolfe (Everett) of Conroe, TX, Lydia Hancock of Austin, TX and Ruth-Anna McDonald (Darius Ike) of Shenandoah, TX; and his siblings, Rodgers Greenawalt (Katy) of Sumter, SC, Stanton Greenawalt (Jane) of Myrtle Beach, SC, Janet Smith (Robert) of Rixeyville, VA, Joseph Greenawalt (Barbara) of LaPlata, MD, John Greenawalt (Steve) of North Potomac, MD and Deborah Golanski of Plano, TX. He is also survived by 17 nieces and nephews; and numerous great nieces and nephews.
