She was predeceased by: her parents, Aaron W. Peiffer and Carrie A. Peiffer (Edris); her daughter Carol Kauffman; her granddaughter Kristin Kauffman; and her brothers, Mark Peiffer and Allen Peiffer.

She is survived by: her husband Herbert L. Brightbill; her children, Marie (Lynn Moyer) of Annville, Judy (Robert Phillips, Jr.) of Bethel, Donald Brightbill of Newmanstown, Randy (Denise Brightbill) of Myerstown and Glenn Brightbill of Richland; and her sister Mary Gregg. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren; great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Host Church, 80 Host Church Rd., Bernville, PA 19506.

“Was saddened to see the passing of Elsie. I had got to know Elsie 6 years ago when I would go see my Mother. I always said Hello and tried to interact with her in certain activities. I kept an eye on her to make sure she was alright when I was there, as well as others. Although we currently aren't allowed to visit for quite awhile already I have not forgotten my special friends . I Offer my sincere sympathies to her family.”
