He was predeceased by: his parents, Antonio DelVecchio and Elvira DiBattista DelVecchio; his wife Vilma DiGregorio; his siblings, Lelio DelVecchio, Emilia Lucrezi and Arduina Amorosi; and his daughter-in-law Patricia DelVecchio.

He is survived by: his children, Piero DelVecchio of Muse, Joyce Bobby (John) of South Fayette and Joe DelVecchio (Carol) of Wexford; and his granddaughters, Sarah Bobby (Owen Russell), Rachel Dever (Pierce) and Karen DelVecchio (Nicolas Kwatnoski).
