With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of William Albert Elchik (Murrysville, Pennsylvania), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 2, 2024 at the age of 97. He was predeceased by: his parents, Micheal Elchik and Vern Elchik (Ezak); his wife Marlene Elchik (Kraft); and his brother Richard Elchik. He is survived by: his children, Jane Stape (Barry), Susan Braun (Robert), Michael Elchik (Lisa), Mary Kliwinski (David), William Elchik (Lisa Marie), Anne Turkowski (William), Joseph Elchik (Loren), Thomas Elchik (Mary Jo), Richard Elchik (Greta) and James Elchik (Roberta); his grandchildren, Nick (Nikki), Joe (Anne), Katie (Tim), Bill (Danielle), Matthew, Jessie (Mike), Kelsey, Terra, Griffin, Rene (Mike), Leah, Abby, Kayla, Jared, Lydia, Mick, Ben, Anna, Alex, Christopher, Jack, David and Carson; and his great grandchildren, Sophia, Lincoln, Brody, Louis, Loretta, Braun Baby, Michael, Reina, Rowan and Will.
A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, December 27th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Mother of Sorrows Church (4202 Old William Penn Hwy, Murrysville, PA 15668).
