He was predeceased by: his parents, John Sweeney and Nora Sweeney; and his brothers, Daniel and John Sweeney. He is survived by: his wife Marylou Sweeney (Abel); his sister Mary Margaret Rapp; his children, Kathleen Love, Patricia Smith (William), Mary Ann Lloyd (John), Thomas Sweeney and Maureen Sweeney; his grandchildren, Nora Hudson (Gerry), Sean Curler, Rachael Baughman (Alexander), Ryan Love, Alexander Smith (Torie), Michael Smith (Elizabeth), Emily Winstead (Riley), Tyler Smith, Megan Johns (Brett), Katey Lloyd (Jake Newkirk), Christopher Lloyd, Bridget Lloyd, Thomas Sweeney and Mollie Sweeney; and his great grandchildren, Airianna Hudson, Gianna Hudson, Troy Curler, Dean Curler, Mieko Baughman, Xander Baughman, Ezekiel Baughman, Maura Smith, Charlotte Smith and Avery Johns. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
