He was predeceased by : his former life partner Mary Theresa Dunnett (Tatra); his parents, Tom Dunnett and Mary Catherine Dunnett (McMahon); and his brother Thomas Dunnett. He is survived by : his wife Violet Ann Dunnett (O'Brien); his children, Ronny Dunnett of Wisconsin, Dawn Marie Hickman (Dunnett) of Indiana and Bonnie Dunnett of Wisconsin; his son-in-law Mike Hickman; his grandsons, Ian and Ryan of Indiana; and his siblings, Robbe Dunnett (Carol) of St. Louis and Margaret Ann Boas (Tom) of Michigan. He is also survived by five step-grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Monday, July 1st 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM at the Hart Funeral Home Inc. (3103 Lillian Ave, Murrysville, PA 15668). A memorial service was held on Monday, July 1st 2024 at 7:30 PM at the Hart Funeral Home (3103 Lillian Ave, Murrysville, PA 15668).
