He was predeceased by: his parents, Edgar M Nicely and Rose Nicely (Lestitian); and his son Richard G. "Rick" Nicely Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Melrose Nicely (Schopp); and his children, Joan Nicely and Dan Nicely. He is also survived by two grandchildren; a brother and two sisters.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, December 14th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Faith Bible Baptist Church (150 Curry Ave, Turtle Creek, PA 15145). A burial was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 at the Westmoreland County Memorial Park (150 East Side Dr, Greensburg, PA 15601).
