He was predeceased by: his parents, William Hood and Ella Hood (Marr); his wife Evelyn Hood (Mitsch); and his siblings, William Hood (Agnes) and Ruth McCabe (Jack).
He is survived by: his children, Marilyn Davis, Janine Dreibelbis (Mark) and Jim Hood (Leslie); his grandchildren, Michael Davis (Amy), Jill Fugate (Chris), Becky Mazzei (Vincent), Brian Dreibelbis (Elizabeth), Ashley Hood DiazGranados and Courtney Hood (Zac); his great grandchildren, Evan, Owen, Alexander, Lukas, Colton, Zachary, Evelyn, Jonah, Emma, Nathan, Lily and Lyla; and his sister Helen Meinert. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
