Irene Lichota Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Irene Lichota of Murrysville, Pennsylvania, who passed away on March 10, 2025, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jerry Purtell and Ruth Purtell (Rhodes); and her siblings, Jerry Purtell (Clairlou), Michael Purtell and Carolyn Vogel.
She is survived by: her husband James "Jim" E. Lichota Sr.; her sons, James "Jamie" Lichota (Sharon) and David Lichota (Kassandra); her grandchildren, Jessica, Matthew, Kai, Nika and Rainy; her brother J. Stephen Purtell (Patricia); her siblings-in-law, Linda Purtell and Larry Vogel; and her friends, Kathy Mazzei (Torcaso) and Chrissy Maser (McGee). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
