He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward A. Hampton and Helen Hampton (Litz). He is survived by: his wife Becky Hampton (Franklin); his son Edward S. Hampton (Lindsay); his grandchildren, Sydney and Rory Hampton; his brother George Hampton (Janice); his sister-in-law Connie Graham; his nieces, Michelle, Marla and Renee; and his nephew Eric.
