We bid farewell to Audrey Jean Mauro of Murrysville, Pennsylvania, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on March 30, 2025 at the age of 96. Audrey touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Andrew Fitz and Sarah Fitz (Rankin); her husband Albert Mauro; her great grandchild Olivia Marie Pasquale; her son-in-law James "J. L." Heider; and her sisters, Margaret Peterson (Charles), Esther Louise Fitz and Marie Lonie (William).
She is survived by: her children, Barbara Heider, Albert "Larry" Mauro (Shirley) and Janet Eckels; her grandchildren, Anita Pasquale, Sarah Johnston (Jeremy), Timothy Eckels, Sami Eckels and Audra Eckels; and her great grandchildren, Noah, Haley, Jacqueline and Allison. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 2nd 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Hart Funeral Home (3103 Lillian Ave, Murrysville, PA 15668). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 3rd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, April 3rd 2025 at the Twin Valley Memorial Park (483 Athena Dr, Delmont, PA 15626).
