She was predeceased by: her parents, John Kortnak and Anna Kortnak (Homa). She is survived by: her goddaughter Vonnie; her husband John Regis Shields; her brother John "Sonny" Kortnak (late Georgianne); her cousins, John Homa (Linda), Mary Ann Stage (George), Andrew Homa (Sandy) and Bob Homa (Pam); her niece Jackie Davis (Michael); her great-nephew Jackson; her great-niece Savannah; and her cousins, Drew Homa, Robynmarie Kucinic, Jennifer Tittsworth, Sarah Rasmussen, Renee Hehemann, George Joseph Stage and Patrick Stage.
