Vern left this world on January 17, 2025 at the age of 94, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her parents, Andrew Thomas and Ann Thomas (Kasko); her husband Adam Piscitelli Sr.; her granddaughter Cara; and her sister Joanne.
She is survived by: her children, Adam Piscitelli Jr. (Tonya) of Munhall, Robin Piscitelli (Xiaotian) of Highlands, NC, Lynn Lebedda (Robert) of New Homestead, Christy Marazzo (Paul) of Harbor Springs, MI, Stacy Doepken (William) of South Side and Lisa Piscitelli (late Rodney King) of New Homestead; her grandchildren, Adam, Anthony, Casey, Dawn, Nicole, Mikaela, Dominica, Alyssa, Nadia and Lia; her siblings, Andrew Thomas (Carol) and Charlie Orsini (late Nino); and her close friend Addi. She is also survived by 15 great grandchildren.
A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 22nd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Homestead Park United Methodist Church (4231 Shady Ave, Munhall, PA 15120). A celebration of life was held on Wednesday, January 22nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
