He was predeceased by: his wife Evelyn Tihey (Santora); his parents, Ivan Tihey and Ilya Tihey (Druga); and his siblings, Mary, Helen, Betty, Anna, John, Frank, William, Michael and Andrew.
He is survived by: his children, Virginia Joseph (Ronald) of Green Tree, Julie Suni (Paul) of Berthoud, CO, Patricia of Pittsburgh and Thomas Jr. of Churchill; his grandchildren, Deanna Joseph (Daniel Bara), Ronald Joseph Jr., Jocelyn Joseph and Gregory Joseph (Megan); and his great grandchildren, Ellie and Benjamin Bara. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, a cousin and friends, including his best friend.
