She was predeceased by: her husband John Kostrub; her parents, John Smidansky and Mary Smidansky (Hrico); and her siblings, Joseph Smidansky (Mary), Mary L. Magnus (John), Albert Smidansky (Mary), Bernard Smidansky (Marie), Agnes Smidansky, John "Bud" Smidansky and Veronica Wassil (Joe).
She is survived by: her children, J. Regis Kostrub (Beverly), Janice Malloy (Paul), Joyce Ann Brown (Terry) and John Kostrub (Lisa); her grandchildren, Daniel Douglas Kostrub (Ashley), Diana Therese Barney (Nick) and Katelyn Marie Kostrub; and her great grandchildren, Brady and Collin.
Other memberships included Friends of the Library - Carnegie Library of Homestead, the Board of Directors of the American Cancer Society (1986 - 1992), and the Munhall Garden Club.
