He was predeceased by: his parents, Oliver Guthrie and Helen Guthrie (Yalch); his wife Mary "Mickey" Guthrie (Schloer); his children, Debbie Starmack (Paul) of Elizabeth, Pam Clayton (Dan) of Bethel Park, Lori Stadelman (Mike) of Munhall and Billie Jo D'Amico (Joseph) of South Park; his grandchildren, Timothy Starmack (Kristy), Matthew Starmack (Megan), Micheal Stadelman (Katie), Samantha Lowe (James), Alexander Clayton (Autumn), Jonathan Stadelman (Courtney), Jessica Clayton, Mary Katherine "Katie" Thomas (Gabriel) and Emily D'Amico; and his great grandchildren, Penelope, Calvin, Finnian, Elijah, Mylo, Rowan, Isaac and Grace.
He is survived by: his siblings, Alice Jayne Issac (Ike) and Oliver Guthrie (Jean). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday, February 5th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the George Irvin Green Funeral Home (3511 Main St, Munhall, PA 15120). A masonic service was held on Wednesday, February 5th 2025 from 7:30 PM to 8:00 PM at the same location. A Mass was held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Holy Angel R. C. Church (408 Baldwin Rd, Pittsburgh, PA 15205).
