He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph D. Tomko, Sr. and Anne T. Tomko (Rohaly); his brothers, Jerome Tomko, Joseph Tomko Jr. and Regis Tomko; and his nephew Parrish Benedict.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Jo Tomko (Skinner); and his siblings, Rita Contini (Tomko) and Andrew Tomko. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
