He was predeceased by: his wife Verna M. Gorsin (Bane); his parents, Tony Gorsin and Mildred Gorsin (Ashcraft); his brother William Gorsin (late Rosalie); and also Marci Pigford.
He is survived by: his children, Dawnmarie Smith and Paul Yeso (Kellie); his grandchildren, Natasha, Paul T. Yeso and Airiana Mae Plata; his sister Nancy Pigford (Thomas); and his nieces and nephews, Lee, Joanne Pigford, Kristine Gill (Ron) and Kevin Gorsin. He is also survived by many great-nieces and nephews, cousins, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
