He is survived by: his wife Deborah Stead (Pryle); his children, Marie Pasley (late John) of San Diego, CA., Maxine Babjak-Stead of Pittsburgh, PA and Robert D. Stead, Jr. (Carol) of Pittsburgh, PA.; his grandchildren, Christopher Babjak (Jessica) of Pittsburgh, PA, Brendon Stead, Shannon Cavacino-Stead and Lukas Stead; and his siblings, Anna Marie Korb (Rodney) of Butler, PA, Susan Stead of Pittsburgh, PA., Tom Stead (Andrea) of Pittsburgh, PA, Tim Stead (Michelle) of Pittsburgh, PA and Marilee Prager (Lou) of Springdale, PA.
