Maxine Vargo Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Maxine Vargo of Munhall, Pennsylvania, who passed away on August 31, 2024, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard O'Brien and Mary Louise O'Brien; and her daughter Michele Vodzak. She is survived by: her sons, Frank (Mary Lou) and Gregg (Michele); her sister Suzanne Dimun (late Michael); her grandchildren, Carly Vodzak, Amanda Schreiber (Nate), Liz Vargo, Vanessa Vargo and Nathan Vargo; her great grandchildren, Aria Vodzak and Vincent Schreiber; her son-in-law Gary Vodzak; her granddaughter Kayla Vodzak; and her family Maxine.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 6th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Paul Henney Funeral Home (5570 Library Rd, Bethel Park, PA 15102). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 7th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital which was a charity dear to Max's heart.
