He was predeceased by: his parents, J. Clyde Burkholder and Virginia Burkholder (Knox); his wife Janet L. Burkholder (Taylor); his sister Marcy Barge; and his brother-in-law Russell Barge.
He is survived by: his children, Tracy Findlay (James) of Munhall, J. Lynn Burkholder (Patricia) of Greenville, S. C. and Scott D. Burkholder (Mary Jo) of Cranberry Twp; and his sisters, Nancy Scherer of Baldwinsville, NY and Susan Burkholder of Delaware Ohio. He is also survived by five grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
