She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis Esseny and Helen "Jane" Esseny (Popovich); and her brother James Esseny. She is survived by: her daughter Christina; her son-in-law Joe Penska; her granddaughter Elle Penska; her siblings, Robert Esseny, Kathleen Esseny and Theresa Esseny; and her niece Jillian Giles.
