He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Hodnik and Mary Hodnik (Martin); his wife Dorothy M. Hodnik (Buban); his son Michael; and his brother George.
He is survived by: his children, William Hodnik, Donna Wolf (Bob), Carolyn Zender (Craig), James Hodnik Jr. and Joyce; his brother Mike Chervenak; and his grandchildren, Thomas Barefoot, Kelly Barefoot, Erin McMaster (Morgan), Melissa Zender and Marty Zender. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
